Fans of the much awaited "Star Wars Episode 8" are in for more surprises as more spoilers and updates are released. Various rumors have been going around but the most interesting and highly likely to happen is how this movie can be Luke Skywalker's last hurrah.
In the previous movies, Luke Skywalker was still learning about his skills and people often complained that all he does is whine and once in a while, join fights. Now, fast forward 30 years to "Star Wars Episode 8", Luke has obviously gotten a lot stronger. He already passed on his knowledge and power to young padawans similar to how Yoda trained him when he was still young.
According to one Reddit user, Luke has gotten quite powerful that he ends up disintegrating a hut while trying to talk some sense into Kylo and Rey. According to the Reddit user, his source for the "Star Wars Episode 8" spoilers did not specify what happened but if it was indeed Luke's doing, he will most likely be so powerful that he can use the force and sometimes, lose control of it.
There are some speculations that "Star Wars Episode 8" will bet the last episode for Luke. Rey is already ready to lead and with the way the plot is going, it is obvious that Luke will be training Rey and will eventually ask her to bring Kylo back to the light. If this rumor is true, there might be a chance that Luke will be in an epic battle that could end his life.
As Rey finally goes to battle, questions about her past have surfaced. Some fans would argue that there is a high probability that Rey is of royal descent and that her parents left her at Jakku to keep her safe. Other fans would argue though that in "Star Wars Episode 8," Luke Skywalker will recognize her as his daughter and the rightful heir to his lightsaber.
"Star Wars Episode 8" will be in theaters on December 15, 2017. Fans will have to wait til then if they want to confirm all the rumors surrounding Rey, Luke and Kylo.
