"Designated Survivor" Season 1 has only three episodes left before the winter break. In the previous episode titled The Traitor of "Designated Survivor" Season 1, Kirkman's negotiating skill is put to the tests. Amidst his lack of experience in the political realm he has to engage in a three-way spy trade with Russia and Saudi Arabia. Meanwhile, his wife Alex (Nataschia McElhone) has to face the shame of his son Leo's identity when a man claiming to be Leo's father appeared.
Meanwhile, in an interview with TVLine Maggie Q who's playing the role of Hannah Wells an FBI agent have shared that "Designated Survivor" Season 1 is a show that offered a perfect getaway for people who are tired of the current political environment. She says that the show brings on screen the mind boggling and strenuous challenges that plagued the presidency.
Will there be a season 2 comes 2017? This is a question that is waiting to be answered by the ABC network. However, the renewal of the series rests on many factors, the fans rating, the availability of the casts and of the money that's coming in for the network.
