"Ten Days In The Valley" Season 1 starring Kyra Sedgwick and Erika Christensen will soon hit the small screen as ABC's new series. While, Demi Moore has left the show, Sedgwick has come forward to take the role Jane Sadler. ABC has locked 10 episodes for the show that is set to have its filming in 2017.
"Ten Days in The Valley" Season 1 was originally crafted for Demi Moore to be shown as a cable project. However, when the series was finally shopped for the broadcast media, Moore has opted to be out of the show. Moore's last television appearance was in the 1980's when she starred in the TV series titled "General Hospital".
The story arc of "Ten Days In The Valley" Season 1 revolves on the life of a single mom police television show producer Jane with her daughter Ali (Erika Christensen). Jane's life become complicated when her daughter disappeared in the night and she finds herself caught in the maze of controversies and violence.

It was reported by Deadline that Erika who is an alum of the Parenthood series will join with other casts such as Felix Solis of the "The Good Wife" to play as David Gomez. In addition, the Australian actor Kick Gurry of "Jupiter Ascending" will take the role of Pete in "Ten Days In The Valley" Season 1.
According to TVLine, Jane will have the biggest shock of her life when in the course of finding Ali, she finds out that there is no one she can trust. With her life in a mess, she becomes entangled with her real-life identity and that of her police TV show in "Ten Days In The Valley" Season 1.
"Ten Days In The Valley" Season 1 is under the networks new regime on procedural dramas. The show is the second of the straight order series for 2016-2017 season after the "Designated Survivor", which stars Kiefer Sutherland.
