Amid reports that the sale of “Titanfall 2” was disappointing when it was released in the last few weeks of October, EA announced on Wednesday a free multiplayer trial to the game’s full multiplayer opening. The offer includes the Angel City’s Most Wanted DLC.

Despite the report of weak sale, the new shooter game of Respawn Entertainment, “Titanfall 2,” got positive reviews, especially about its multiplayer, according to Gamerant. Reviewers noted the high standards set by the original “Titanfall,” but pointed out that “Titanfall 2” is not disappointing at all when it comes to its exciting online gameplay.

Free Trial Ends On Dec. 4

Origin Access and EA Access subscribers had access to the free “Titanfall 2” multiplayer trial beginning Nov. 30, Wednesday. The rest of the gaming community would be able to access the free multiplay trial beginning on Friday, Dec. 2. However, the free trial period ends on Sunday, Dec. 4.

The aim of the free trial period is to improve sales of “Titanfall 2.” Its release being between the launch of “Battlefield 1” and “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare” affected negatively the sale of the game.

New Update

Polygon reports that the game’s developer, Respawn Entertainment, released a new update for “Titanfall 2” to prepare the shooter game for Angel City’s Most Wanted, its first DLC drop. The update includes several new features and bug fixes for consoles and PCs.

At the same time, the studio hinted of an undiscovered Easter egg in “Titanfall 2” that Respawn Entertainment wants gamers to find. The developer’s patch notes also state the game got a new field of view slider to allow players to improve their FOV up to 100 degrees. Finally, the game has a new film grai slider for players who want to appear grain-free.
