'Game of Thrones' Latest News & Updates: 'WInds Of Winter' To be Released in 2017?

George R.R. Martin the creator of one of the biggest hits in television, "Game of Thrones", has started to break some hearts once again. This time, fans are not crying for the death of a character but, for news that the latest book for "Game of Thrones" is still not done. GRRM has just announced that he is still in the process of finishing "The Winds of Winter."

George has just completed five of the seven part saga and the TV series has already caught up with it as well. His it will be done, when it's done philosphy affects a lot of his fans because they hoping that the books will somehow cover for the spoilers from the TV series. Unfortunately though, GRRM still did not release "The Winds of Winter" in time for 2016.

In a recent update of his blog, GRRM mentioned that he will be gone for a few months to finish his book "The Winds of Winter". He will be attending the Guadalajara International Book Fair and apparently, this will be his last appearance for 2017. His main priority afterwards will be to finish writing "The Winds of Winter".

Speculations have been saying that since he still has a few months of writing, it means that we should not expect a book launch anytime soon. Fans will have to watch the series or they could opt to wait for the book. The only downside is it might take a while before we see"The Winds of Winter" in bookstores.

The latest season for the "Game Of Thrones" will be airing next year. Fans will have to be really patient now and wait for either the book or the series launch.

News have also mentioned that HBO is currently in negotiations wth GRRM to create a "Game of Thrones" spin-off series. GRRM has denied the news though, saying that they are all pure speculations.
