Meizu has officially announced its latest flagship smartphone, the Meizu Pro 6 Plus. The smartphone beast is out now and with its specs, it's another beast to beat in the mobile industry.
Meizu is not new in the mobile industry but it's not new either in releasing high-end smartphone that can directly compete with other known brands. The Chinese manufacturer recently introduced Meizu Pro 6 with amazing specs, but the Chinese company surprised everyone with the announcement of Meizu Pro 6 Plus.
According to The Verge, Meizu Pro 6 Plus is more powerful than the Meizu Pro 6. The new flagship phone sports a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display. It has 2560 x 1440 pixels or Quad HD resolution and its pressure sensitive or 3D press.
The processor used in Meizu Pro 6 Plus is Samsung Exynos 8890 SoC, which is similar to Samsung Galaxy S7. It comes with 4GB RAM and two storage variants of 64GB with a clock speed of 2GHz and 128GB with 2.3GHz clock speed.
In addition, Meizu Pro 6 Plus sports a Sony IMX386 camera sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 and a 4-axis optical image stabilization. The rear camera features 10-LED ring flash and the front camera has a 5MP camera, also with f/2.0 aperture, IndianExpress reported.
The battery capacity of Meizu Pro 6 Plus is huge with 3,400 mAh and has a charging port of USB Type C version 3.1. The flagship phone will run on Flyme 6 OS, a customized Android version of Meizu. The phone is powered by AI Engine called One Mind, which allows the phone to recognize user's preference in using the phone to properly allocate the resources need of the device.
Meanwhile, Meizu Pro 6 Plus comes with three color variants depending on buyer's taste, Champagne Gold, Moonlight Silver and Deep Ash. The 64GB variant is priced at $435 while the 128GB variant is priced at $478, a competitive price compared to other brands with similar specs.
