"Pokémon Sun and Moon" officially launched its very first global mission and it already started. The mission will involve trainers from different races and they were only given two weeks to complete the challenge.
All players of "Pokemon Sun and Moon" can participate in the collective mission and nice prizes are on the line once the challenge is completed successfully. This event was announced via post on the game's website.
How to Join
Players can join the "Pokémon Sun and Moon" global mission by visiting the Festival Plaza where mulitplayer activities are usually held in the game. Get your Game Sync ID and create a Pokemon Global Link account. Lastly, talk to the woman near the computer and register for the global mission.
How to Play
Participants from around the globe must catch as much Pokemon as they can during the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" mission period. By the end of the challenge, everyone should have already caught 100 million pocket monsters in total.
Rewards and Prizes
If the mission is cleared, all the mission participants of the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" global mission will get 1,000 festival coins. On the other hand, if the challenge ends in a failure, all that the players will receive is 100 festival coins.
Festival coins in "Pokemon Sun and Moon" are used as currency at the Festival Plaza. Players can use them to purchase items or pay for a bouncy house so your Pokemon can train. The more coins you can collect, the higher your ranking will go up and this will let you unlock more rewards and new activities at the plaza.
Duration of the Global Mission
Finally, the "Pokemon Sun and Moon" global missions will run for two weeks. According to Serebii, it will officially begin on Nov. 29 and will end on Dec. 12 at exactly 11:59 p.m.
