Steven Avery spent 28 years of his life in the prison for sexual assault and attempted murder. As he feels that the throw more than half of his years in jail, he has nothing to wish but to get freed again and joins his family. In the coming "Making a Murderer" Season 2, the prisoner's group of lawyers believed that he will be out next year and entitled for compensation.
According to Daily Mail, the "Making a Murderer" Season 2 star's team that includes the human rights lawyer Kathleen Zellner has faith that Steven Avery will be freed in 2017. In fact, they are 100 percent convinced that he won't even have to face a retrial as the judge recently approved new DNA testing.
This test could prove that Steven Avery's blood has only been planted inside the victim's, Teresa Halbach, car in "Making a Murderer" Season 2 and he has nothing to do with it. Aside from being acquitted, he should also compensation worth of $100 million because of two wrongful imprisonments.
Meanwhile, Fortune reported that it is now taking almost 10 years to tell Steven Avery's story, but the filmmakers and co-creators of "Making a Murderer" Season 2, Moira Demos and Laura Ricciardi, have no plans to give up. They even hinted at the recent Fortune's Most Powerful Women Next Gen conference that two more episodes of the show are now being edited.
However, Demos and Ricciardi didn't reveal any details about "Making a Murderer" Season 2. But, they are now wondering if the show will be affected by the assessment of the federal judge who is evaluating some parts of the case again.
"He's been very diligent. My hope would be that process was untainted by the series," Ricciardi said about his worries for "Making a Murderer" Season 2. Nevertheless, they asserted that the criminal justice system is the main subject of their documentary.
"We think we have the best system in the world. But if you get pulled into it ... it'll be so clear what's working and what's not working," Demos added. Netflix has yet to announce the release of "Making a Murderer" Season 2.
