Fans of "Quantico" Season 2 received the greatest shock of their lives when they learned that Ryan Booth (Jake McLaughlin) was a baddie and has been betraying Alex Parrish (Priyanka Chopra) all along. The unexpected twists and turns of the midseason finale made everyone questioned what will happen to the two's relationship.
In a recent report, in the midseason finale episode of "Quantico" Season 2, "Odenvy," Alex was seen battling a member of Citizens' Liberation Front. As she was evidently struggling to win, she managed to remove the man's mask and revealed that it was Ryan.
Alex was surprised while Ryan took advantage of the moment to trap her and told that "everyone will die." Will this shocking twist make "Quantico" Season 2 back on track?
According to Buddy TV, "Quantico" Season 2's ratings have been drastically low these days. With that, would it be possible to have another major twist that will mend Alex and Ryan's relationship, especially now that there are swirling rumors that "Quantico" Season 3 will be cancelled.
This might be the biggest betrayal Alex had experienced in "Quantico" Season 2, so far. With all that happened, it is most likely that Ryan is not really on Alex's side but only doing undercover as he learned the things he has to give to betray the person he loved the most at the farm.
Ever since, Ryan and Alex have been invariable. They lied but slept together and eventually ended up with each other in "Quantico" Season 2. They went out of the box but Ryan extremely surprised everyone.
Some are hoping that Ryan is only playing an undercover in "Quantico" Season 2 and not really a member of the terrorists. However, this might be too predictable for the viewers to see.
With the show's stand today, "Quantico" Season 2 should continue delivering major twist and turn of events to reach its sky-high ratings again. "Quantico" Season 2 will continue in January 2017 on ABC.
