The battle between the Kardashian sisters, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney, and Blac Chyna is getting intense as the siblings now block the partner of Rob Kardashian to carry their family name. The three siblings' companies claimed that there will be a conflict if the 28-year-old model is going to trademark her name as Angela Renee Kardashian.
The companies of the Kardashian sisters -- Kim, Khloe and Kourtney -- want to block Blac Chyna for registering a trademark of the family's name. Their businesses believed that if she carries their surname, it might cause damages to their brands, The Wrap reported.
Blac Chyna's real name is Angela Renee White but as she is now engaged to Rob Kardashian, she applied for the trademark in May. On Dec. 1, the Kardashian sisters' Khlomoney Inc., 2Die4Kourt, and Kimsaprincess Inc., then, filed their complaint against the trademark.
The counter affidavit stated that the Kardashian sisters have been known as entrepreneurs and fashions icons that started in the reality television series, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." They, too, starred in the spin-off series, "Kourtney and Kim take New York" and "Kourtney and Kim take Miami." With their fame, some doubt that Blac Chyna only wants to use their family surname.
Blac Chyna plans to trademark her name to use in the entertainment industry and on social media. Of course, the Kardashian sisters opposed her intention to cash in their family name, according to TMZ.
The Kardashian sisters contradicted Blac Chyna's appeal with legal documents citing that if the former stripper obtains the trademark, the siblings will bear a lot of damages. These include "irreparable injury to their reputation and goodwill."
The Kardashian sisters' document stated that Blac Chyna is "deliberately seeking to profit from the goodwill and popularity" of their family name. Evidently, this could affect the two parties' relationship especially this holiday.
