Frank Marshall has been known as the producer of the "Bourne" movie series and other big film franchises in the Hollywood. As the recent "Jason Bourne" movie was released this year, fans are wondering if there will be "Jason Bourne 6."

In an interview, Frank Marshall talked about the future of the "Bourne" movie series and the coming of "Jason Bourne 6." 'I'd say the 'Bourne' franchise is alive and well. And we're certainly moving forward to continue making 'Bourne' movies," he told Hollywood Reporter.

With the continuation of "Jason Bourne 6," fans wonder if it would still be led by Matt Damon, Jeremy Renner or a new actor. As explained by Frank Marshall, he said that he is not yet sure of the film's protagonist, but he assured that the sixth installment would be one of a kind.

As they don't have any book reference for "Jason Bourne 6," Frank Marshall revealed that they are going to open up the story to allow the inclusion of fresh characters and storylines. Just last month, Movie Web reported that a new chapter of the "Bourne" series will be in the works.

Allegedly, Matt Damon will be back to star "Jason Bourne 6" along with Paul Greengrass as the film's director. Although Frank Marshall confirmed that the movie is now under development and they are making plans for it, no story or script has been set or made yet.

However, Frank Marshall guaranteed that it will be revealed in the right time. In fact, he now has a list of things that the wants to see and do in the coming "Jason Bourne 6." One of it is to feature a bigger world for Jason Bourne to move with.

Meanwhile, Frank Marshall, too, teased that Matt Damon is not yet finished with Jason Bourne's character. With that, it is expected that Jeremy Renner is now out of the picture and "The Martian" actor will still be seen in "Jason Bourne 6" and the upcoming films of the franchise.
