‘Black Sails’ Season 4 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Blackbeard Will Take Bloody Revenge; Will Work With Rackham, Flints, John Silver?

Ray Stevenson will continue his bloody revenge as the Blackbeard in the coming "Black Sails" Season 4. Edward Teach made a statement in the penultimate season of the show and gave a new take to the pirates. As fans witnessed his epic battle with Captain Flint (Toby Stephens), got reunited with Captain Charles Vane (Zach McGowan) but eventually died, he was now looking for vengeance.

"They thought they could do it and face no consequences. They failed to account for me," Blackbeard warned. Edward Teach will be seen forming a union with Jack Rackham (Toby Schmitz) in "Blacks Sails" Season 4, according to Inverse.

Blackbeard is now part of the Rackham and Flints alliance along with the newly crowned Long John Silver (Luke Arnold) in "Black Sails" Season 4. However, after that entire thing he had been through, the ghost of the past is still haunting him as he escaped his imminent death with the old bullet still nesting close to his heart.

Meanwhile, it was recently reported that the television adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" is set to reveal its final bow. "Black Sails" Season 4 is said to be the final chapter of the dramatic adventure television series.

As this will be the last time fans are about to see the show set on New Providence Island, "Black Sails" Season 4 will surely surprise its viewers with major twists and turns. In fact, the stars of the program are now giving hints of what its followers are about to see.

Hannah New, who portrays as Eleanor Guthrie, told IGN that her character would face a hard time in "Black Sails" Season 4. After Long John Silver's new legend, her life will now be in danger. In fact, the daughter of Richard Guthrie (Sean Cameron Michael) is part of "a lot of people's hit list."

"The level of violence is escalated and she at this point has to be very clever and very precise in her movements and actions in order to escape this," Hannah New said. "The violence and the battles and struggles become bigger and bigger ... the questions the characters are asking themselves are even more kind of existential."
