‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Niantic Just Made it Easier With Batch Transfer Of Unwanted Pocket Monsters to Professor Willow

Niantic continues its drive to improve “Pokemon Go” and one neat update should aid players who often transact with Professor Willow. Most trainers reach that point where they would have to get rid of some pocket monsters, especially when rare ones come their way.

For some “Pokemon Go” players getting more than one kind of a certain Pokemon-type is a given. The game is about capturing those pockets monsters to ramp up their XPs and the tendency most of the time is engage and add them to the inventory.

Seeing that there is a limit of stocking only up to 250 critters, unloading some multiple “Pokemon Go” critters will be needed. And the usual recourse is to transfer them to Professor Willow who will, in turn, reward you candies for your trouble.

The trouble here is that “Pokemon Go” players can only do it individually. So in case where players want to transfer multiple pocket monsters, a recurring transfer will be needed that can be utterly boring. Thankfully Niantic has come up with a batch transfer which should make things easier from here on, Slash Gear reported.

With “Pokemon Go” batch transfer to Professor Willow, all players will have to do now is press and hold down on a Pokemon, Game Rant reported. The new feature is included on update 1.19.1 for iOS or 0.49.1 on Android devices.

Depending on how frequent a “Pokemon Go” player tries to catch the pocket monsters, it is likely that critters like Pidgeys, Rattatas or even Spearows are multiple pocket monsters most would want to get rid of. This is assuming of course that the pocket monsters have already evolved to their final form.

Aside from the welcome batch transfer of Pokemon, the latest “Pokemon Go” updates include other useful features. That includes total candy count on Buddy Pokemon, the total kilometers a buddy has garnered and Pokemon type icons added to gyms.

More updates are expected in the coming weeks. This includes Niantic shedding out details for “Pokemon Go” gen 2 on December 12 according to Digital Spy.
