Nintendo NES Restock Latest News & Update: Hot Toy Restocking Before The Christmas Holiday; Best Buy, Amazon Availability

Gaming consoles of today might be very technologically advanced, with the ability to display almost life-like gameplay graphics. However, some players just miss the old days and would like to relive how gaming was before, like the Nintendo NES.

These types of gamers are in for a treat since reports say that there is going to be a massive restock of Nintendo NES on various stores online. Buyers are now going crazy about the thought they could get their hands on the classic before Christmas hits.

Nintendo NES Restocks After Getting Sold Out

In almost an instant, the Nintendo NES restock has been an online craze and units have been pretty sold out almost everywhere since it was released November 11. Just like the Wii during the early days of its release, the prices of these retro consoles have reportedly gone as high as five times their original price on eBay.

Perhaps the company intended that a restock would just be to treat the Nintendo NES fans for Christmas, but it looks like it ended up with more. Destructoid reports that Best Buy stores will get at least one more loaded shipment of the Nintendo NES before Christmas day arrives.

The NES Classic Edition would be available in all Best Buy stores "very soon" but with a date of December 20. Surely, fans of the console who want to relive their childhood memories are already on standby for what this Nintendo NES restock has for them.

Best Buy did confirm this news and even clarified that the NES Classic consoles will only be available at their physical locations, with each store having limited quantities. Thus, to manage the limited supply and an enormous demand, these iconic consoles will be distributed to buyers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Amazon Hints At Nintendo NES Restock

Nintendo Wire also reports that the Nintendo NES may be happening soon with another retail giant. Amazon has caught up with the retro craze.

They even announced on Twitter that it "got a couple of exciting announcements to make in the coming week" about the console. Amazon did not reveal what its plans exactly are but those vying for a chance to own their own Nintendo NES should find comfort in a potential restock.
