'Ghost Recon Wildlands' Release Date, News & Update: Beta Goes Live Soon; Here's How to Access Early Play

Players need luck - and lots of it to grab an early access to "Ghost Recon Wildlands" before it unleashes in March. But at least, the idea of playing the game ahead of others is not an impossibility.

There is a beta program for this newest entrant to tactical shooter and players can taste how multiplayer will fare. "Ghost Recon Wildlands" will open up the beta for select players to take up the challenge of fighting Santa Blanca drug syndicate in Bolivia. While Ubisoft is making a change in this entry as the first open world shooter, beta is inevitable. This can help "Ghost Recon Wildlands" in terms of seamless gameplay in open environment, Wired said.

Now here is a guide how players can access this "Ghost Recon Wildlands" beta; an Ubisoft account should be made first through official page. Previous account with other games like "The Division" or "Watch Dogs 2" can be helpful as well. Remember that there is age verification and these previous Ubisoft interactions are proof of the player's age. However, players who don't have account can link their PlayStation Network, Xbox Live or Facebook.

Take note that "Ghost Recon Wildlands" can only accommodate a limited number of beta players so there is a 50-50 chance to be chosen. Each chosen account will receive a digital download code from Ubisoft via email. Players have to chose which "Ghost Recon Wildlands" platform are they going to use, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC.

Make no mistake about it, "Ghost Recon Wildlands" isn't live yet although it can happen sooner that everyone expects. Successful beta candidates will receive a notification that reads "We will contact you via email if you are selected for our future beta phases" to confirm proper account creation.

"Ghost Recon Wildlands" beta game may run for just a weekend or several days. It is an essential step for Ubisoft to stress-test the game and pile up feedback from players prior release of final version.
