According to Hollywood Life, Zayn Malik was not seen in the One Direction reunion in "The X-Factor" Season finale for Louis Tomlinson. But, it has been said that it might better that the boyfriend of Gigi Hadid didn't show up.
An insider told the publication that there is still a beef between Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne, so the initial wasn't seen in the One Direction reunion. "It was actually a good thing he wasn't there because it would have taken a whole different identity to the night that no one wanted," the source said.
It was also added that the purpose of the One Direction reunion is to mourn for Louis Tomlinson's mom, Johannah Poulston. "They wanted to mourn together and if they played buddy-buddy with Zayn it would not have been genuine and added a sore spot to everything," the source added.
Moreover, Louis Tomlinson was seen leaving London's Cirque Le Soir club after his emotional rendition of his new song, "Just Hold On." He left with his sister Lottie after the One Direction reunion with Liam Payne and Nial Horan while Harry Styles was also seen even if he was not photographed.
