Some of the leading roads in Patterson Park were closed because of the "House of Cards" Season 5 filming. Also, the recreational area implemented parking restrictions all throughout the Canton, according to ABC2News.
However, "House of Cards" Season 5's production company Knight Takes King Productions keeps mum about the show's details even though it confirmed that the program was there for filming. Aside from Patterson Park, the political drama web television series is also shooting at other areas in Maryland at Harford County.
"House of Cards" Season 5 was, too, took place in Churchville and Bel Air over the summer. Moreover, Reddit users seem very excited with the filming of the show in Patterson Park as they saw the glimpse of Kevin Spacey while biking.
"I hope he's biking with Doug," one user said. Although it is not revealed who Kevin Spacey is biking with, this only confirmed that they are now busy filming "House of Cards" Season 5.
Meanwhile, Beau Willimon exited "House of Cards" Season 5 as its showrunner because he is about to focus to be an activist anti the newly elected U.S. president Donald Trump. The 39-year-old playwright made a political organization called Action Group Network that will provide a "vocal, active, united opposition" against the business magnate.
Hence, a lot of fans become worried for "House of Cards" Season 5's future without Willimon. In a recent report, it has been known that the screenwriter is heart and soul of the program.
He, too, has the main idea of adapting the Kevin Spacey program from the British drama based on Michael Dobb's novel. "House of Cards" Season 5 will air in February 2017 on Netflix.
