'Grimm' Season 6 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: New Teaser Promo Emerged! Premiere Episode 'Fugitive' Details Revealed! [PLOT]

Weeks from now, NBC will finally air this television show's sixth and final season. And in what would have been a culmination of the network's perseverance on gambling on a TV show that at first was tipped to be dead-on-arrival, the show has managed to bring about five seasons and 100 episodes. Indeed, the American supernatural drama "Grimm" has proven to be a powerhouse with its spine-tingling storylines and sometimes ridiculous approach to the realm of the scared. And it worked.

Now as its viewers are approaching "Grimm's" Season 6 air date next month, a voluminous amount of spoiler have now surfaced. And while this could be bittersweet for some who have been with the show for almost six years, these are truly enough to get by as its final season near and just sufficient enough to get them more thrilled on what to expect from the show which is about to sing its ultimate swan song.

Titled "The Final Chapter," NBC has released the ultimate teaser promo for "Grimm" Season 6. It features its traditional trail of bodies (no less!) along with numerous showdowns and practically all reasons to think that none of the character might see the light of their future days. Meanwhile, a Nick Burkhardt (David Giuntoli) is seen to be still alive and kicking while everyone seems to be bobbing, wondering if they would still survive.

If that promo doesn't seem to satisfy some, a substantial scoop of "Grimm" Season 6 premiere episode, titled "Fugitive," has surfaced. It's synopsis, too, has thankfully emerged, courtesy of NBC. It shared, "Following the massacre in Nick's (David Giuntoli) loft, Capt. Renard (Sasha Roiz) is hell bent on eliminating him once and for all. Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Wu (Reggie Lee) head back to the precinct to keep an eye on the Captain and help give the gang the upper hand. Meanwhile, Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) and Rosalee (Bree Turner) grapple with staying in Portland now that their family will be expanding."

The sixth and final season of "Grimm" is scheduled to premier on Jan. 6, 2017 on NBC. The series is created by David Greenwalt, Jim Kouf, and Stephen Carpenter.
