New Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls New TV Spot Trailer Premiered on Walking Dead [VIDEO]

New Diablo 3 Reaper of Souls TV Spot Trailer

Blizzard has unleashed a new trailer for the first Diablo III expansion, Reaper of Souls. It actually premiered during last night's episode of "The Walking Dead" on AMC, the TV show the perfect spot for the dark and moody game to find its fanbase. It's not every game that gets tv ads for their expansion, but then again, Blizzard doesn't make just any game.

Of course, Blizzard's games never look as cool as their cinematics do. This trailer features the expansions's new class, the Crusader. As you'd expect from the name he's a warrior of righteousness who is hardened to combat all things evil. He's basically a tank, an incredibly tough character that seems like the perfect choice for your upcoming battle against Death itself.

The recent 2.0.1 update for Diablo III apparently included some patches and fixes to get things ready for Reaper of Souls' release later this month, and the response from gamers has been quite positive, especially around the new community features. There will apparently be more randomized environments this time in keeping with a more classic Diablo experience, as well as an enhanced loot system that lets you further customize Legendary items.

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls will set you back $40 for a digital version, although there is a $60 deluxe edition that will come with three additional character slots, a Spectral Hound Minion that's there "to aid you in your crusade against death itself" and some bonus content for other Blizzard games. It releases on March 25. Once again don't forget that the PS4 will be getting both games in one package with its Diablo III: Ultimate Evil Edition later this year.
