‘Overwatch’ Players Still Complain About Mei Ice Wall Issue; Oasis Map Goes Live Featuring Arabian City

"Overwatch" players are complaining about the 3v3 game mode where they encounter the  Mei ice wall glitch.  The said mode allows the players to go past the level, at which point the players are not allowed to shoot the enemies.

According reports, the "Overwatch" Mei ice wall issue has been noted for weeks now, but started to dominate the 3v3 mode on Ecopoint: Antartica just recently. In fact, some players are said to be calling it as the new 3v3 meta, offering up some strategies to counter it.

"Overwatch" game developer Blizzard, however, is yet to officially acknowledge the issue, as reports suggest that they were not able to fix the current patch that allowed players to access the much-awaited Oasis map. Unfortunately, the Mei ice glitch is also reported to work there as well. Aside from that, there have also been complaints from some players who encounter cheaters on several occasions during the 3v3 matches, Kotaku reported.

"Overwatch's" Oasis Map Goes Live

Blizzard has just released "Overwatch's" Oasis map, which is set in a futuristic Arabian desert city. The new map for the popular hero-based shooter game was released for Xbox One, PS4 and the PC as part of the new free update last Jan. 3.

"Overwatch's" Oasis map is among the most advanced cities in the world, and a shining jewel emerging from the Arabian Desert as well, based on Blizzard's description of the new Control map. The new map is also described as a monument to human invention and integrity, where academics and researchers from different region come together to find a city of scientific progress with no limits, according to  Polygon.
