The "Dark Souls III" developers are reportedly set to put the cap on the entire franchise with an upcoming downloadable content that is also said to be the game's final DLC. The last game called, "Dark Souls III: The Ringed City" has reportedly been confirmed for a Mar. 28, 2017 release. Additionally, the "Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades Edition" packed with two downloadable contents are reportedly set to be released in the market on Apr. 21, 2017.
"Dark Souls" Trilogy Became One Of The Most Popular Games. It is said that the "Dark Souls" franchise boasted spectacular settings from the start while conquering player's expectations in the process. However, reports claim that the "Dark Souls III" may have lost its popularity, allegedly making the developers put an end to the game. On that note, the "Dark Souls III" developers are reportedly releasing the final game for the series for PS4, Xbox One and PC users, Game Spot reported.
It should be noted that the final release of "Dark Souls III" reportedly came with a message that clearly stated "The Ringed City" as the second and final expansion in the series. The last game in the franchise is reportedly being sold at the price of $14.99. The expansion will reportedly feature the Slave Knight Gael from the first DLC "Ashes of Ariandel".
Game Of The Year Edition Releases In April
Meanwhile, "Dark Souls III" newbies may also opt for a "Game of the Year Edition" reportedly set to release in April. The GOTY Edition will reportedly pack the original game along with the two DLC expansions, Metro UK reported. The "Dark Souls III" developers are reportedly releasing "The Fire Fades Edition" for Xbox One, PS4 and PC players.
The "Dark Souls III" Age of Fire is reportedly closing with the end of the world. On the other hand, the developers are reportedly opening the new place called the Ringed City packed with ancient beasts and other new characters. Finally, the content will reportedly add new weapons, magic and armors as well.
