Creator Genndy Tartakovsky has promised that Jack's story will finally be continued with a bloody new season that is expected to air on Adult Swim next year. Genndy Tartakovsky's 'Samurai Jack' Season 5 Air Date Confirmed For March 2017?
GamenGuide has previously reported how Genndy Tartakovsky discussed "Samurai Jack" Season 5 at the San Diego Comic-Con. During the panel, it was revealed that the animated will bring back Jack's ultimate nemesis Aku.
However, the creator did not announce the show's premiere date just yet. But has someone else confirmed the "Samurai Jack" Season 5 air date? There are reports that former "Samurai Jack" storyboard artist Chris Reccardi announced on his Facebook page that the fifth season will premiere in March 2017.
The news immediately had fans looking forward to the show's early return but things changed when Toonami showrunner Jason DeMarco that the "Samurai Jack" Season 5 air date "has not been set" just yet (via Twitter). Reccardi has since deleted his post so it is still unclear whether the animator had the right information.

When Is The 'Samurai Jack' Season 5 Air Date?
Unfortunately, there is no word yet from Genndy Tartakovsky or Cartoon Network on when the fifth season of "Samurai Jack" will premiere on Toonami. There are speculations that "Samurai Jack" Season5 will air by summer next year or perhaps Chris Reccardi was correct when he announced the March 2017 air date.
