‘Pokemon Go’ Latest News & Update: Nearby Tracking Transcends To UK; Are More Regions Following?

The ‘Nearby Tracking’ feature of “Pokemon Go” leaves a lot to be desired though a new version had been introduced but limited to San Francisco. Regardless, Niantic Labs was expected to expand the coverage and the next area of scope seems to be the United Kingdom.

It seems that some inhabitants over at the UK have started getting the nearby tracking feature, Eurogamer reported. This means that “Pokemon Go” players over at the UK can now use the improved method of tracking pocket monsters, showing the PokeStop where they are close to.

All UK “Pokemon Go” players have to do right now is use the PokeStop where spawning critters will spawn, giving them better direction and information rather than walking without direction. The new ‘nearby tracking’ feature has been rolling out incrementally so it may take some time before more regions enjoy the new feature, Eurogamer reported. Check out the Twitter embed below.

The improved ‘nearby tracking’ for “Pokemon Go” is a welcome improvement from Niantic for players and fend off the use of third-party app trackers. Niantic tried to improve on the feature before but sadly failed miserably in functionality. It remains to be seen which region will come next.

With new direction to “Pokemon Go” players, there are now new concerns with the coming of the ‘nearby tracking’ feature. Some issues were pointed out by Slash Gear tied up with the Pokemon distribution of other types which could inadvertently affect higher level pocket monsters having lesser chances of showing up at PokeStops.

Regardless, the incremental roll-out of the ‘nearby tracking’ feature for “Pokemon Go” is welcome news for folks yearning for better guides on where to find the elusive pocket monsters. There is no official word on which region could see the new feature yet with most hoping for the best and in time for the festive Yuletide season.
