'Fallout 4' Latest News & Update: New Patch Addresses Issue with Monorail, Studio Introduces NPC Inspired by Fan

There are a couple of exciting new things for fans of Bethesda's "Fallout 4." The Todd Howard-directed action RPG that's turning a year old this November has received the latest patch for the PC version of the game, which addresses issues with the Monorail. While there aren't big changes and additions in update 1.7.15, there's a lot of improvement for those who have been experiencing trouble with the "Nuka-World" monorail.

According to Gamespot, the issues with the monorail not starting up properly has been experienced by gamers across all platforms, which is probably why the studio has gone ahead to finally address it. "Fallout 4"'s latest patch has arrived on PC and will land on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One next week, so check back for the exact date of arrival for those consoles.

Fans would be familiar with "Nuka-World," the third and final DLC for "Fallout 4, which was released just last August 30. The DLC featured a new area inspired by an amusement park, where gamers could explore and defeat raider groups who have settled in the park. Speaking of "Nuka-World," the studio has quite a surprise for one dedicated fan by the name of NoohjXLVII on Reddit.

According to PC Gamer, NoohjXLVII is one avid "Fallout 4" player who cites the game as an influential part of his life, especially after the passing of his father and brother. Bethesda got word of his personal struggles and gifted him with awesome "Fallout" merchandise and most importantly, a new character in "Nuka-World" named after the late brother of NoohjXLVII.

The character is named after Evan, NoohjXLVII's late brother, and can be found in "Fallout 4"'s "Nuka-World" DLC. Evan is the NPC who lives in the Southernmost part of "Nuka-World," and who quips and encourages gamers to take whatever they need to succeed in the game. Head over to Reddit to read his touching story.
