‘Nashville’ Season 5 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Luke Wheeler Will Be Back! Will, Kevin Settling Down? Can He Handle It?
Luke Wheeler (Will Chase) left "Nashville" in Season 4, now the new series regular of ABC's "Time After Time" is set to be back to guest star in "Nashville" Season 5. Although the 46-year-old star is no longer a regular cast of the musical drama, he will still be seen in the next installment alongside with, none other than, Will Lexington (Chris Carmack).
Chris Carmack brought the good news on his Twitter page when he shared a photo of him and Will Chase together on the set of "Nashville" Season 5. "It's always a good day opening up for Luke Wheeler!" he tweeted.

To recall, Will Lexington and Luke Wheeler's working relationship is never a good one. In fact, there was an instance when Luke tried to remove Will from his record label. But in "Nashville" Season 5, it looks like the two will now get along together, TVLine cited.
Meanwhile, aside from Luke, it seems like Will is about to embrace his real sexuality in "Nashville" Season 5. As he and Kevin (Kyle Dean Massey) concluded "Nashville" Season 4 with a happy ending, will their relationship develop in the new coming installment?
TVGuide reported that Will and Kevin will not only back together in "Nashville" Season 5, but there are set to settle things down between the two of them. However, fans should not celebrate yet as Will will still have a "wandering eye" when they return.
This might be because of his fear for a long-term relationship or the temptations he has because of his fame. Also, there will be a lot of distractions between the two, knowing that Will is a renowned performer. Can the two work things out in "Nashville" Season 5?
With that, fans can expect a good "country songwriting material" from Will because of the things he has going through. "Nashville" Season 5 is set to return on Jan. 5 on its new network CMT!
