'Earth's Dawn' Review, Latest News & Update: Hulking Guys & Svelte Babes, Kill All Aliens Gameplay

Muscle-flexing guys and svelte babes that goes to steal alien technology and use it to annihilate enemies wraps up the whole "Earth's Dawn" concept in just few words. Remember that old "Odin Sphere?" This new 2D side-scrolling RPG looks like its twin brother.

Starting with "Earth's Dawn" character first, this is the main draw for the game because developer OneorEight clearly stressed on character development. Characters can be customized to suit the gamer's need. You have to take on A.N.T.I. operative persona that was given super-strength to fight alien invaders known as E.B.E. Remember that there is apparent lack of narrative and the only hell-bent focus is to kill as many alien as possible, GamesPew said.

"Earth's Dawn" is a classic example of "try and try until you succeed" ethos. There will be strings of missions that ultimately lead into a timer in ANTI headquarters that will prompt the availability of next mission. It is advisable for the player to use this leeway in developing his character because what will follow is a boss fight. Win or lose doesn't matter because the player will only revert in the headquarters to fight another day, Destructoid reported.

What presents a complicated setup at "Earth's Dawn" is the tasking character development. Perform nicely in mission and skills will offshoot but there is no balance yet to capacity stats. Meaning, skills can only be used when capacity stats warrant them. There will be classic Hit Points, Attack and Defense stats as well that can be tuned once the character levels up.

It is notable that elite enemies are kind of rare in "Earth's Dawn" mission fields. However, they are really pesky because these enemies are quite difficult to kill. OneorEight made these elite enemies very resilient and even a minute's worth of attacks isn't enough to even effect their health bars.

Now for the verdict, players who love RPG niche can try "Earth's Dawn" a bit and then decide later. It may be harsh but this title is good when you are trying to entertain yourself but also easy to forget once you get off the gaming chair.
