‘Final Fantasy 15’ Latest News & Update: Elemancy Secrets To Power Up Magic Spells

Many "Final Fantasy" gamers may utilize magic spells to boost a game character's health points or for a devastating attack. The same applies in "Final Fantasy 15" where taking advantage of various elements can help to craft powerful magic spells.

In "Final Fantasy 15," the ability to craft spells can be an effective way to boost a game character's attack moves during battles. Known as "Elemancy," mixing specific elements into a spell can vary its potency or effect.

"Final Fantasy 15" gamers who are looking for a fire-based attack can craft a Fira or Firaga magic spell that can unleash a firestorm. With the Blizzara and Blizzaga spells, an ice field can freeze opponents or slow down attackers. For the Thundara and Thundaga magic spells, a lighting storm will zap opponents in its way.

However, there are certain "Final Fantasy 15" magic spells that require a special balance of elements, according to gaming tips posted at IGN. Moreover, depending on the magic spell, more than 51 percent of a specific element will need to be used.

For "Final Fantasy 15" newbies, creating a Fira spell will need a base element of Fire. Similarly, Thunder-like or Blizzard spells will need Lightning or Ice elements, respectively.

The amount of a specific element can also affect a magic spell's potency. With a first level cap of 100, the spell will move up to a higher level. Given that players can only store 99 units of a specific item or element, adding two units of another element will also raise a spell's potency.

Meanwhile, "Final Fantasy 15's" Elemancy feature also allows gamers to craft hybrid spells. When mixing elements with other items to act as a catalyst, a spell's effect or potency may change.

Adding a Remedy or Sheep milk with less than 50 percent of an element will create a magic spell with a Dualcast effect. With the said power level, gamers can cast two random magic spells. Several other combinations will also increase the power level of a spell where the maximum would enable spell casts of up to five times, according to US Gamer.

Players can choose to experiment with specifc element combinations or catalyst boosts. Other hybrid magic spells can even inflict poisons or add health points.

"Final Fantasy 15" was released on Nov. 29 for PS4 and Xbox One. Learn more about crafting magic spells in the clip below:
