Moto G5 & G5 Plus Release Date, News & Update: Likely To Have Android 7.1 Nougat Update? With Turbo-Charging & 24-Hours Battery Life?

While loyal customers of Motorola waiting for an Android 7.0 update, the company has also been busy of upgrading new phones to be released. It has been said that Motorola will likely released the Moto G5 and G5 Plus.

The report started on leaked-mobile pictures which are likely the same as Moto G4 and G4 Plus. These pictures are claimed by reports as Moto G5 and G5 Plus.

Moreover, Lenovo already has plans for 2017 of which a roadmap has leaked as confirmed by Know Your Mobile. It further stated that "the roadmap shows all the devices Lenovo and Motorola will be producing under the Moto brand and specified which branches will be contributing to the development." However, it didn't specifically say about Moto G5 and G5 Plus.

But it was GSM Arena, which earlier reported the leaked-mobile pictures. It did not only state the key features but also its release date. Hence it confirms that "the launch date for both phones is said to be March 8. "

Moto G5 and G5 Plus Features and Specifications

The images revealed some of its key specs. It shows a 5.5inch full HD display on both Moto devices along with a 5- megapixel front camera and below the phones screen is a shaped fingerprint scanner.

It also shows that Moto G5 and G5 Plus will be powered by single Octa-core processors. The differences between Moto G5 and G5 Plus dwell mainly on camera and storage options. It has a 13-megapixel and 16 GB for G5 and a 16-megapixel and 16/32 GB for G5 Plus. It also has a 7.0 Android Nougat with a possibility to get an update of Android 7.1 Nougat Update.

 It even has a turbo-charging .Thus, making these a 24 hours battery life.
