NASA Reveals New Mission; What’s Next For Cassini Spacecraft Images Of Saturn’s North Pole?

NASA is reportedly set on beginning a new mission to study breathing in outer space. The new NASA mission is reportedly connected with the Geostationary Carbon Cycle Observatory satellite as well. In addition, NASA also reveals images of a 20-year mission to Saturn.

It has been revealed by NASA that a new Earth science will be launched. The NASA mission reportedly aims to measure two important aspect of Earth. Apparently, vegetation and greenhouse gases will be the aim of the NASA mission.

Moreover, NASA will reportedly provide real-time measurements of different gases including methane and carbon dioxide. The NASA mission may also monitor planet health in America. The mission is also slated to study the natural carbon cycles of the planet.

Previously, it has been speculated that the Earth Science Division in NASA is in trouble. Apparently, the new NASA mission is related to the division. Bob Walker reportedly expressed interest in funding the division as well. It is yet to be revealed how the GeoCARB mission will affect the future.

It is believed that the NASA GeoCARB will orbit 22,000 miles above America. NASA is slated to calculate carbon dioxide, methane and carbon monoxide as well. These gases have been known to trap heat in the atmosphere, according to report.

In other news, NASA has been noted as having a 20-year mission to Saturn. Apparently, the spacecraft that was launched on such mission maneuvered into the planet's orbits revealing images of its famous rings. Furthermore NASA Cassini reportedly sent back home initial shots of the northern hemisphere of Saturn, Engadget reported.

NASA reportedly revealed a view of the hexagonal jetstream over Saturn's north pole. Note that the images were taken 400,000 miles above Saturn via four different spectral filters. NASA further calculated that each of the 256 pixels represent 95 miles of space. Cassini also passed by the outer edges of Saturn's rings. Watch Saturn's North Pole by NASA Cassini here:
