Many speculations are flooding online that more characters with major roles in "Suits" series are going to leave. Accordingly, many are saying that the show will not possibly make it to "Suits" Season 7. Recently, Jessica (Gina Torres) left the show right after the summer finale episode of "Suits" Season 6. Many fans are saddened by Torres' exit of the show. Torres plays a big role in the series, being the mother-like figure of Mike (Patrick J. Adams).
While Torres is expected to be no longer a series regular in "Suits" Season 7, Aaron Korsh, "Suits" series executive producer is still hopeful that she will return to some future episodes in a guest-star capacity. "I don't think it is the last we'll see of Jessica," he says, adding, "If it were up to me, I would never say goodbye to Jessica until the end of the show."

"Suits" Season 6 premiered on July 1, 2016 and is currently on its winter hiatus. In August 2016, the series was renewed for a 16-episode "Suits" Season 7, which is set to premiere in 2017. A lot of fans are really excited on what will happen next to the American legal TV Series.
From the beginning of "Suits" Season 7, fans initially thought that Mike (Patrick J. Adams) will stay in jail for long. Contrary to what fans anticipated, according to TVline, Mike is finally going out of jail and will be working again with Harvey (Gabriel Macht.)
Meanwhile, "Suits" Season 6 winter season episodes will focus on Donna and Harvey's romance. Despite the rumors of the cancellation of "Suits" Season 7, show creator Korsh confirms that the show will continue to the next season.
According to him in an interview with Collider, Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Sarah Rafferty, Rick Hoffman and Meghan Markle will return in "Suits" Season 7. However, Korsh implied in the same interview that "Suits" Season 7 might be the last season for the show.
