‘Grand Theft Auto Online’: The Last Chance For Character Transfer This March

Rockstar's open world action-adventure video game "Grand Theft Auto 5" is having an Enhanced Edition on its current-gen console Playstation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One. Players who have played on last-gen systems will be given a chance to carry over their progress to the new platform. GTA 5's players cannot make the transfer unless they will upgrade now until the 6th of March this year.

According to Polygon, players who are willing to avail the game upgrade and transfer their progress to the current console generation only have a little more than a month. March 6, 2017 was the exact date that the game publisher Rockstar announced. Although this transfer thing had been done before in the current console generation in 2014 right after the launched of "Grand Theft Auto 5", but this time is a little bit different.

In the past transfers, the players' progress can only be transfer within the console family, that means PS3 to PS4 and Xbox 360 to Xbox One. This time, in the current-gen system of "Grand Theft Auto 5", they make it different. A number of enhancements are boasted over their PS3 and Xbox 360 counterparts in the current-gen versions of "GTA Online", as stated by IGN. Through free updates, loads of additional content has been added in the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions to improve visuals. The definitive version of "Grand Theft Auto 5" will feature lots of graphical and technical improvements of game details to deliver a stunning one.

Time is running out for those players who don't want to start from scratch in the Enhanced Edition and have not yet brought their characters and progression over from Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 to Playstation 4, Xbox One, or PC. The last chance to transfer characters in the new massively upgraded "Grand Theft Auto Online" will be on March 6, 2017.
