'The Legend Of Zelda Breath Of The Wild': Warm Doublet Guide

Fans has been reportedly enjoying Nintendo's RPG "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild", which was launched last week for the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Wii U. Reviews have praised the game for its open-world approach that refuses to hold the hands of players, which lets them discover some of the game's hidden mechanics and features. Most players have probably realized that certain zones are colder and drain link's health.  It seems to require the warm doublet to explore further.

To combat the freezing temperatures players can actually consume warm meals or hold on to a torch to generate a little warmth for the protagonist, but it is obviously more convenient to acquire some insulation. Several players have noted that the game allows players to discover most of its elements. However, it seems some players might encounter problems due to the lack of instructions or hints, says Game Rant. Some of the game's items reportedly took some puzzle-solving skills in order to unlock.

This guide to "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" will hopefully lead players to successfully acquire the warm doublet. It will also hopefully reduce the need for aimless exploration to give users more time to wander around the colder zones in the game world.

Old man's house and the diary

In the game's starting point, players will encounter an enigmatic old man who teaches the players some of the gameplay basics. Users must find his house, which is around the south of the Temple of Time within the great plateau. Once there, users must find a diary that holds the recipe for Spicy Meat and Seafood Fry.

Collect the ingredients and cook them for the old man

Players must gather three ingredients, which are Raw Meat, Hyrule Bass and Spicy Peppers. The easiest one to get is reportedly the meat, which is dropped by wild boars in the Forest of Spirits. The fish can be found in the waters between the Oman Au Shrine and Great Plateau Tower. Lastly, the peppers are gathered around the area of the old man's house. Once the players have all the ingredients, make sure to cook everything in a pot

Go back to the old man

According to Gamesradar+, once the players have the dish prepared, they can look for the old man during the evening when he is sitting next to a campfire. The last step is to hand over the meal and receive the warm doublet for all your trouble. The item prevents cold damage when players explore the icy areas in "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild".
